The Csopak wine is based on one single grape variety, the olaszrizling. Wines of other grapes cannot bear the name of the protected appellation which consists of more than 30 crus in 5 villages. The Csopak wine is divided into three quality categories, the generic wine from all crus, the Hegybor or hill wines from the premier crus and on the highest level the Dűlőbor or single cru wines. We make Csopak wine in the two upper categories and are members of the local producer association, which follows a strict regulation on making premier cru and single cru wines.
We also work with two other important local grapes, the furmint and the kékfrankos. We use them both for making estate blends and single cru wines.
